As part of the Wooden Barrel Craftsman Revival Project, leftover wood and bamboo from barrel-making are transformed by skilled artisans into small cedar items and bamboo hoop accessories. Both the cedar and bamboo used in the barrels are rare, high-quality materials that take years to acquire. The “Blessings of the Wooden Barrel” series was born from the craftsmen’s desire to use these precious materials with care. Each piece is carefully finished by hand.
