The event featuring Kioke, traditional wooden barrels, was successfully held.

I held my first collaborative event with kioke's blessings at Hakko Department, themed around Kioke, traditional wooden barrels.

Even guests visiting from the Czech Republic happened to join us, and the workshop was fully booked. We were able to share with the participants why we chose Kioke as the theme for this workshop.

In addition to tasting five different types of soy sauce, I also had some freshly obtained soy sauce moromi (fermenting mash), so I asked a guest to press it, and we compared the flavor of unpasteurized soy sauce with bottled soy sauce.

For the bracelet-making session using the traditional taga-ami hoop-weaving method, everyone improved quickly under Sono-san from kioke’s blessings clear and skillful instruction. As someone who isn’t very handy, I was simply amazed.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us!
